Bill Puddicombe has 20 years experience leading and managing social enterprises, especially in social care and support. He has worked with all different kinds of organisations, from large “brand name” charities to small community groups to local authorities.
In 2006 Bill left Phoenix House, the national leader in dependency treatment services after nine successful years as Chief Executive to work freelance.
He is the Chair of the European Association for the Treatment of Addiction (EATA) and of Adfam, the UK organisation offering assistance to families who have problems related to dependency. He is also a Board member of the Leonora Trust, developing services for people with alcohol problems.
Bill is a Chartered Member of the Chartered Institute for Personnel and Development and a Chartered Director - accredited by the Institute of Directors. He has a BSc in psychology.
Bill’s clients include the National treatment Agency for Substance Misuse and a number of small and medium sized independent organisations.
