Mr. Tamasi has been with Gosnold since its inception in 1972 and was named its President/CEO in 1992.He oversees the Gosnold inpatient, residential, and outpatient programs that comprise the Cape’s largest addiction and mental health treatment organization, with locations from Falmouth to Provincetown.
The organization employs more than 350 professional and support staff.Last year Gosnold admitted more than 4,000 individuals to its inpatient programs and provided 60,000 counseling sessions in its outpatient clinics.
Mr. Tamasi is a member of the Mental Health & Substance Abuse Corporation of Massachusetts, the National Association of Addiction Treatment Providers, the Network for the Improvement of Addiction Treatment, the Cape Cod Hospital Board of Incorporators, and Chairman of Town of Dennis Human Services Advisory Committee.Before joining Gosnold, Mr. Tamasi worked in the private sector for seven years in the greater New York area.He received a Bachelor's of Arts in Economics from Rutgers University and has a Masters in Education with a concentration in Counseling and Healthcare Administration.
